LANDSCAPE DESIGN PROPOSAL

 

PHASE 1     SITE ANALYSIS:  CONCEPTUAL PLAN

Site visits to document existing conditions/walk the site

Record property and building dimensions to construct base map

Inventory and evaluate existing elements:

Orientation, topography, climate, sun, wind, slope, soils, drainage, vegetation, views, buildings, cultural features

Identify use areas and social activity needs of the client

Address vehicle and foot traffic for comfortable access and egress through the land    

Create base map, ‘Conceptual Design’ to explore opportunities and constraints

                                          

PHASE 2     DESIGN DEVELOPMENT:  MASTER PLAN

Integrate built structure with visual and activity needs of the client

Define movement and use areas 

Design hardscape, including material recommendations

Develop a Master Plan of the property with details illustrated where needed

Create planting plan and plant lists that integrates native species and client’s selections

Submit plans for construction cost: site work, hardscape, plant material and installation 

                                                                                                                             

PHASE 3      ON SITE & FUTURE DEVELOPMENT

Oversee installation of hardscape, placement of beds and location of plant material

Create a maintenance plan that includes water, feeding and pruning recommendations

Optional periodic management program to monitor and make recommendations for:

   Plant fertilization, soil amendments, compost, mulch

 Erosion concerns/soil stabilization

  Trees and shrubs: feeding, pruning and removal
